From now on a logo can be included in the room overview (left column). This many times requested feature helps you to customize your ayControl app. Furthermore the contact data of the ayControl reseller will be presented in "info", directly in the app.
A detailed manual for dispaying a logo will be included soon in the ayControl KNX configuration guide V2.1 - page 56.
All the further Updates of the ayControl Version 2.1 will be also explained in the ayControl KNX configuration guide V2.1.

iOS 5 "the world´s most advanced mobile operating system" (apple.com) is available. Find here some Highlights: iMessage, location based reminders, iCloud, notification center and further 194 new features.
The ayControl KNX Version 2.0.2 includes improvements and is now compatible with iOS 5.

The multimedia integration via Squeezebox was added in the last ayControl Update 2.0. Squeezebox is an all-in-one network music player, which is suitable for the kitchen, bathroom or even patio.

IP camera: better support of Motion JPEG
The WebCam-Image has improved support for IP Cameras with Motion JPEG Support. Enter the URL to the Motion JPEG Stream into the URL Field (Iseo Desinger). Since the current version of Iseo Designer doesn't support that feature, you have to add ":mjpg" to the description of the WebCam Image. ayControl automatically converts the extension for you:

Wait for KNX status answer The new option "Wait for Answer" (available in Settings), allows you to disable the automatic switch of the On-/Off Switch. The status is only changed if a reply of the read address over the bus arrives. |

Configurable sending interval of slider
Now it is possible to change the sending interval of the Slider and RGB Color Picker. Thus, it is possible to configure the Slider to only send the actual value on releasing it. This option is missing in Iseo Designer. Therefore you have to add ":interval=0" to send the value on releasing the Slider.

| Send value every 500 milliseconds: Simply append „interval=500“ to the description (e.g. „Light:interval=500“). Now the actual value is send every 500 milliseconds and also on releasing the Slider. Please note: this setting could increase the bus load. Therefore only experts should change the interval. |

For easier configuration the new options will be available in a future version of Iseo Designer.
With the release of the newest ayControl KNX version 1.9.2, the iOS app is now also available in dutch and swedish. Furthermore we solved an issue with the 16bit-Float datatype when using KNXnet/IP tunneling. Heating and AC can be controlled now even with KNXnet/IP tunneling.

easyMOBIZ the company behind ayControl recently moved into a new office. The new office features generous space and lots of natural light in a building from the beginning of the 20th century. As you can imagine, this presented a bit of a challenge when we were about to install a KNX bus so we could use ayControl to control our offices.

The latest version of our software is the product of feedback from our customers. Many system integrators asked for a more flexible way to display values. We took these parts of ayControl for a spin and added flexibility and functionality.
We also added new icons (we almost tripled the number of available icons) to ayControl and the iseo Designer. Now a huge part of daily life is covered.

The new ayControl Multimedia-Control for the iPad will be configure in the same way as for the iPhone. Please take a look in the ayControl Configuration Guide from page 20 and 46 - 47.
Please wait for the version 1.6.1 if you use IP tunneling for the KNX visualization ayControl.
We are sorry to announce that there is a little caveat in version 1.6. Due to a small glitch in version 1.6 controlling KNX elements do not work if you use KNX IP tunneling. The visualization is correctly working. The control and visualization of ayControl via KNX IP routing are not affected.
Version 1.6.1 which fixes this glitch and therefore includes the possibility to control (like in former versions) has already been submitted to Apple.
We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and have learned the lessons and are improving our quality assurance even more.

ayControl – the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad EIB/KNX visualization is now available in version 1.4.1. in App Store. Reliability in all types of network connections (especially KNXnet/IP tunneling) have been improved. The following features are new in this version: Apart from now it is possible to secure a room or area via PIN code. Furthermore you can now add one or more IP cameras. So ayControl is now even more suitable for integrated security systems (Intercom).
ayControl has won the User Experience Award 2009 for innovation. The User Experience Award has been awarded for the third time to the most innovative and user-friendly product. We are very glad that the top-class jury awarded the innovative potential of ayControl.
ayControl is now available on App Store. ayControl is a mobile all-in-one remote control for buildings, smart homes and multimedia landscapes. The home- and device control on smart phones formats enables the user the control and check of rooms and buildings from any place. ayControl is easy to handle and fast to configurate.
