ayMonitor is a helpful tool for professionals. It is used for mobile trouble shooting with a quickly available and easily understood diagnosis of any KNX installation. With ayMonitor it is possible to move freely around the house to spot errors, even during the installation process.

ayMonitor KNX is a free tool and it is ready for use after just a few settings. After installation you only have to enter the necessary address and port of the KNX gateway. An EIB/KNX IP gateway or router has to be installed.

Import of ETS group-addresses

After you have imported the group-addresses of your ETS project as *.csv (!), there are only few steps to be taken:

1. Send that file in an e-mail to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
2. Start the context-menu on your mobile device by staying on the attachment.
3. Now choose “open in” and then “ayMonitor KNX”.
4. To use the group-addresses from ETS, select the according file via the tag-symbol (upper left).

As an alternative you can also transfer your file to the mobile device via iTunes:

1. Select your device in iTunes and click “Apps”.
2. Copy the file to your device via “File Sharing”
