"One Tonne Life" Project
An average Swedish family produces six to eight tons of CO2 per year. In Austria these values are even higher. The Swedish One Tonne Life project aims to reduce the emissions to one ton per year. We happily contribute to this aim by providing our iPhone and iPad application ayControl KNX.
ayControl KNX
The reduction of emissions does not necessarily mean a reduction of comfort. This has been proven by the KNX/EIB control ayControl. It can control the lights, the heating, the blinds, multimedia and alarms of any building that is supplied with a KNX bus. And this is not only possible locally, via GSM and WLAN it works from almost everywhere. This is not only very comfortable; it also helps to use only those of the devices that are actually needed.
Energy consumers
One of the biggest consumers – next to mobility – are heating and cooling. One Tonne Life tries to reduce these emissions by using strong isolations and smaller room sizes. But smart technologies can also help to solve the problem. Not only, that the bus system and ayControl enable their users to regulate the heaters whenever it is necessary, it is also possible to control the blinds to let in or keep out the sun’s heat.
